Made in Evanston, IL. This craft distillery is producing whiskey that is packing a ton of flavor. This particular whiskey was aged for 3+ years, but when talking with the owner she said the whiskey is ready…when it’s ready.(paraphrased) This bourbon would be considered a high rye bourbon and then instead of cutting it with water they used coffee that was specifically made for their distillery from Passion House in Chicago. With this bourbon having a high rye percentage in its mashbill and cut with cold brew coffee, you get a spicy tingle on the front end and a long sweet finish. At $40 a bottle, it’s hard to be a whiskey that recently won gold at the World Whiskey Competition in Best American Flavored Whiskey and Best American Blended Whiskey . This whiskey is a sleeper and will be discovered soon. Get while the gettin is good!
